Swimmer Luc Boudreau continues to lower his personal best time in his specialty event, the 200-metre breaststroke.

The Acadia student-athlete, swimming for the Wolfville Tritons at the Canadian summer swimming championships in Saskatoon, swam the 200 breaststroke A final Wednesday evening after qualifying earlier in the day.

After taking more than a second off his previous personal best in the event in the preliminaries, Boudreau swam the final in 2:20.53, shaving another tenth of a second off his lifetime best time, en route to a ninth-place finish.

Boudreau then swam a season-best 1:06.55 in the 100-metre breaststroke Thursday morning, but his 23rd place finish overall wasn't enough to qualify him for the final.
