Central Kings tops among Kings County high school rugby teams mid-season

The Valley high school rugby season reaches its halfway point this week.

As of May 5, King's-Edgehill led the boys' standings with a 6-0 record. Central Kings is 5-1, West Kings was 5-2, Middleton and Avon View 3-3, Annapolis West 2-4, Horton 1-6 and Digby 0-6.

On the girls' side, King's-Edgehill and Avon View shared top spot at 7-0. Park View and Central Kings were both 4-2, Horton 4-3, Middleton and NKEC 2-5, West Kings 1-7 and Avon View 'B' 0-7. For the second half of the schedule, the teams are split into A and B pools depending on their records.

May 3,  Valley  teams took part in a Rugby Fest in Windsor, with all games counting in the standings. Read more about the tournament here.
