Acadia volleyball scores win over visiting Capers

The Axewomen volleyball team earned a 3-1 win over the  Cape Breton Capers in Atlantic University Sport action Jan. 19 in Wolfville: 25-13, 25-11, 19-25 and 25-14.

With the victory, Acadia improves to 3-4 within conference play and 3-8 overall including the AUS-RSEQ interlock.

Kristen Bolduc led the Axewomen with three blocks and  11 kill, earning player of the game honours for the Axewomen. Chantelle Zawila was the Capers top player. 

Acadia plays again Jan. 24 at Dalhousie. The next Axewomen home game is Feb. 7 when they host Moncton.
