Axewomen down UPEI Panthers 88-5

Emilie Chiasson scored 38 points today in Acadia women's rugby's 88-5 win at UPEI to set a new conference single-season scoring record with 172 points.
The previous record holder was X-Woman Magali Harvey who had 145 points last year. Chiasson has smashed her own Acadia scoring record of 72 points and still has one regular season game Oct. 19 when Acadia hosts St. F.X.
In addition to Chiasson's four tries and nine converts, Janna Slevinsky had three; Riley Kitchin and Laura Klingenberg each added two; Maddie MacKenzie, Amber Davison and Veronique Russell each had one try.
