Dolbuczuk claims Ken-Wo ladies club championship

Nikki Dolbuczuk was recently crowned the 2014 ladies’ club champion at the Ken-Wo Golf Club in New Minas. Dolbuczuk shot a round of one-over-par 72 to claim the championship.

Junior golfer Heather McLean had the low net score with a 68. Other golfers recognized with awards included Beth Lloyd (81) as senior champion and Lauraina Nicol (90) as master champion.

Carol Doucet had the low gross score for nine holes at 49. Catharina Ansems had the low net score for nine holes at 33.

By division, the first division winners were Meaghan McLean, low gross at 90; Darcy Fuller, second low gross at 86; Kathy Fleiger, low net at 69; and Renda Vandertoorn, second low net at 72.

In second division, Cheryl Hawboldt had low gross at 91, and Pat Wirvin second low gross at 94. Penny King was low net at 71, and Linda Durling second low net at 74.

In third division, Cheryl McCarthy had low gross at 100, and Jane Cayford second low gross at 101. Jane Hefler had low net at 71, and GiForsyth second low net at 73.

In fourth division, Judi Thorburn had low gross at 107, and Marian Sampson second low gross at 114. Rose Leslie had low net at 79, and Helen Shaw second low net at 79.
