The BMHS Senior Girl’s Slo pitch team has wrapped up their season with a 14-0 perfect record and a provincial title. The Barons finished first in their district league play and first at the regional tournament, earning themselves a spot at provincials. Aiming to capture their third banner of the season, the girls headed to provincials in Caledonia on June 6 and 7. The Barons placed first in their pool during round robin play, defeating both host North Queens 16-4 and S.A.E.R.C 12-1 by the ten run rule in the 5th. Barons also defeated East Antigonish 11-7, guaranteeing them a place in the crossover game. In the crossover, BMHS met New Germany, defeating them 8-1. The Barons fought hard in the championship game, triumphing again over East Antigonish 6-2; a perfect ending to a perfect season.
