Swimmers from local clubs travelled to Port Hawkesbury Feb. 8-10 to compete in the junior provincial championships.
Of 11 teams, the Wolfville Tritons finished in seventh place and the Greenwood Dolphins in eighth. Wolfville Triton Matthew Bent was the top male swimmer in the 12-and-under division.
Dolphins with top-six finishes were Larissa Coleman, Kyra Jarvis, Jenna O’Brien, Julie Hotton and Nicholas Gilbert.
Tritons with top-six finishes were Emma Murphy, Matthew Bent, Andrew Archibald, Cordelia Hoegg-Phelps and Chantal Mason.
The Wolfville Tritons team of Hoegg-Phelps, Brittany Guiney Yallop, Mason and Murphy earned a bronze medal in the girls’ 13-14 200 metre freestyle relay.
