Catie Miller family November 26, 2014

Catherine "Catie" Miller, 29, went missing from her Dartmouth home in July 2014. Murder charges were laid in the case Nov. 22, 2014. 
The Dartmouth woman is the daughter of Terry and John Miller. She had a young son who was three at the time of her disappearance.
Miller, an electrician, graduated from King's-Edgehill School in Windsor and then
 attended Saint Mary’s University and the Nova Scotia Community College.

100th anniversary of start of First World War November 07, 2014

For the next 16 weeks leading to Remembrance Day, TC Media weekly newspapers in western Nova Scotia will be highlighting stories connected to the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the First World War. July 28, was the day the war officially began. Canada would be called into the conflict on Aug. 4 when Britain joined the war. The war would last more than four brutal years. More than 60,000 Canadians would die.
