Heartbreak in Moncton

A 24-year-old man was arrested early June 6 in Moncton a manhunt that lasted more than 24-hours.

He is the only suspect in the killing of three RCMP officers and the injuring of two more.

Did J. Bourque attempt to become an armoured car security officer? If so, then his application would have to have been cleared by the RCMP. Did rejection of his application by the RCMP trigger his murderous assault on the RCMP? Just wondering.

100th anniversary of start of First World War November 07, 2014

For the next 16 weeks leading to Remembrance Day, TC Media weekly newspapers in western Nova Scotia will be highlighting stories connected to the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the First World War. July 28, was the day the war officially began. Canada would be called into the conflict on Aug. 4 when Britain joined the war. The war would last more than four brutal years. More than 60,000 Canadians would die.
