The Middleton Lions’ kiddie train is always a hit with the youngsters. 6 width:500px;height:375px Sparky the fire dog walked in the parade - picking up a handy umbrella from a spectator en route to keep his fur dry! 7 height:500px;width:375px It takes a tractor to remove the barbecued steer from its spit, with lots of people making sure it makes it to the table. 8 width:500px;height:375px Volunteers leap into action, as lines grew outside for the noon serving of the classic Kingston Steer BBQ burger bits and dinners. 9 width:500px;height:375px Peter Stevenson shows off his 2002 1800 Honda Goldwing in the motorcycle show ‘n shine. The 51st Kingston Steer BBQ July 10 did its best to feed the crowd that turned out for the traditional slow-roasted steer. From the support for entertainment, dessert contests, the street parade and more; village volunteers will use proceeds through the next few months to support on-going municipal and community-driven projects.
