The Kingston/ Greenwood area was lively last weekend.

A brawl involving about 50 people broke out outside the Top Hat Beverage Room in Greenwood at 2 a.m. July 12.

Five men were arrested after RCMP members from five detachments and Military Police were called in to quell a fight.

Four males in their 20s and one in his 30s were charged with being drunk in a public place. They were held overnight in cells and released later July 12.

Early the following morning, another fight broke out at the Kingston Steer BBQ dance at the Western Kings Arena. Police were on the scene at 1:14 a.m., but only had to subdue two males.
