Dance on Mondays

November If you've been thinking about attending our ballroom dancing lessons in the community hall, here's an opportunity. On Monday evenings in November, instructor Peter Fyfe will teach the basics for five dances: fox trot, waltz, tango, jive, and rhumba! Casserole Supper

November 26 All Saints’ ACW will be holding their Annual Christmas Casserole Supper and Sale Thursday, Nov. 26 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at All Saints’ Church Hall, Pleasant Street, Kingston. Menu: a large variety of casseroles, salads, and desserts. Adults $8, Children $4. Family rates are available. There will be a bake table and takeout.

Seniors Luncheon

November 26 Seniors are invited to the Middleton Baptist Church for a special senior’s Christmas luncheon at 12 p.m. Turkey dinner and will feature special guest speakers and great music. Cost is $10. Call 825-3537 to reserve.

Light-a-bulb

November 26&27 Soldiers’ Memorial Health Auxiliary’s light a bulb campaign at Home Hardware, Middleton, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Purchase a bulb in honor or memory of someone ($5). Donations to buy equipment and support local health projects.

Tree Lighting

November 27 Town of Middleton’s Annual Tree lighting ceremony at 6:30 p.m. in the Save-Easy parking lot, musical entertainment by Son’s of Maxwell. Treats and wagon rides follow at the Fire Hall. Info: 825-6611

Concert

Community Breakfast

Hymn Sing

November 29 On Sunday, Nov 29 at 7 p.m. Victoria Vale Baptist Church will hold a Hymn Sing with special music by the Bridgetown Salvation Army Praise Team and Victoria Vale Baptist Church choir. The Joseph Davidson Story presented by Maj Norm Hamelin. Freewill offering. Refreshments at Parker Hall after the Hymn Sing.

Proceeds from this service for the Bridgetown Salvation Army.

Hanging of the Greens

November 29 Annual Hanging of the Greens service at Middleton Baptist Church at 10:45 a.m., for the whole family. Gifts of baby items will be received to be given to the Valley Care Pregnancy Centre and poinsettias can be brought to be placed in memory of loved ones who have passed on. Child care is available. Music for Saint Cecilia

November 29 Celebrate Music for Saint Cecilia (patron saint of musicians and church music) with "A Royal Consort," Sunday, Nov. 29 at 3 p.m. at St. George & St. Andrew United Church, Annapolis Royal.
