The Canning Lions Club sold tickets on a beautiful remote electric fireplace prior to Christmas. The winning ticket was drawn Dec. 21 and went to Ivan Fraser of Sheffield Mills.

We begin a new year with thanks to all organizers, volunteers and supporters that made the fundraisers and social events a huge success throughout the year. Profits generated from each event benefit many organizations and individuals in need and without community support, this would not be possible.
