Communities in Bloom

Kentville is participating in the 2008 provincial edition of Communities in Bloom. Communities in Bloom is a beautification program that provides awards for achievement in floral displays, landscapes, turf, urban forestry, community involvement and more.

Last year Kentville was awarded five blooms in the 5,001-10,000 population category. Get your business involved in Kentville Businesses Bloom. Businesses that register will receive a beautiful 15-inch hanging basket and necessary hanging hardware. The basket will be delivered in early June.

If you would like to participate in Kentville’s Communities in Bloom and receive a hanging basket, contact Erin Mason, Kentville Community Development Coordinator by phone at 679-2549 or via e-mail at communitydevelopment@town.kentville.ns.ca.

Information is provided by your regional development authority, the Kings Community Economic Development Agency.
