Garden Club Meets

Bats in the Belfry

April 10, 11, 13 The Annapolis District Drama Group presents the comedy Bats In The Belfry by Angela Randazzo, a hilarious comedy of magic and mayhem. Performances are a King's Theatre benefit and are on Thursday, April 10, Friday, April 11 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 13 at 2 p.m.

Chinese Auction

April 12 There will be a Chinese Auction, Bake Sale, 50/50 draw and BBQ Fundraiser for Family Tree Children's Centre at the NSCC Campus Gym, 295 Commercial Street Middleton on Saturday, April 12. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. and draws will take place beginning at 1 p.m. Tickets are 10 for $2.

Talent show

Historic Gardens Spring Clean-up

Workshop

April 12 The monthly Look Good Feel Better workshop, helping women deal with the appearance related side-effects of cancer and it's treatment will be held from 10am-12 noon in the Private Dining Room of the cafeteria at Valley Regional Hospital. Volunteer Meeting

April 14 Mid-Valley Palliative Care Services at SMH at 7 p.m. Public welcome. Topic: Compassionate Care Benefits. Representatives from Services Canada will explain this new program designed to offer financial assistance to help working people who may have to care for very ill loved ones.

Annual Meeting

April 15 of the North Kingston Public Cemetery at 7 p.m. in the Kingston Fire Hall. Everyone is welcome and we especially invite anyone with family buried in the cemetery to attend.

Bridgetown soccer registration

April15/16 at Bridgetown High School from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. No phone registations. Fees due that night. Child’s health card needed. Anyone wishing to donate gear can bring it during registration times.

Student Art Fair

April 17 Valley Student Art Fair opens 7 p.m., Thursday, April 17 at the Macdonald Museum, Middleton. This great show features artwork from Valley school children from Windsor to Digby.

VON Lunch Bunch

April 17 The VON Lunch Bunch gets together at St Luke’s Anglican Church in Annapolis Royal on April 17. Bring a friend and join us for good food, pleasant conversation and entertainment. Free Lunch

April 18 Who says there’s no free lunch? Emmanuel Congregational Christian Church, 37 Gates Ave, Middleton, will provide a luncheon of soup, rolls, dessert coffee and tea on April 18 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. for any who wish to attend. April 26 The Bi-yearly IODE Rummage Sale will take place, Saturday April 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Nova Scotia Community College, Annapolis Campus, Middleton. This is a fundraiser for the Chapter and monies go to charitable work throughout the Annapolis Valley.
