Halifax police say they have located a woman who was missing for nearly three days.

Monika “Mikki” Selig, 26, never returned to her home in Lower Sackville after she was last seen on June 17 at 8:30 p.m. leaving a friend’s residence on Best Street in Dartmouth.

From the beginning, police had said there was no evidence to suggest that Selig had been met with foul play but there was concern for her well-being as she suffers from a medical condition that requires on-going treatment and medications.

Late June 20, police issued a release saying that Selig had been located at 6:15 p.m. on Wyse Road in Dartmouth. They also said she was returned to her home safe and sound.
