There is no shortage of opportunities to catch a glimpse of royalty in Halifax on Monday as Prince Charles and Camilla begin their Canadian tour.

Below is the couple’s itinerary for their visit to Halifax and the public events they have scheduled.

• Grand Parade in Halifax, 10 a.m. Includes 21-gun-salute, aboriginal blessing, and the Prince of Wales will give remarks and sign guest books before a walkabout.

• Public Gardens at 12:30 p.m. The prince will learn about the history of the gardens, attend a concert, and plant a tree beside the oak planted by his grandfather King George VI in 1939.

• Northbrook Community Centre at 12:35 p.m. The Duchess of Cornwall will tour the centre, then go out to the community barbecue and Family Fun Day celebrations.

• Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market. The Prince of Wales will tour the market at 1:15 p.m. and meet with vendors, and young farmers. The duchess will join him for a concert with local artists and to meet with urban farming groups like Hope Blooms.
