An Annapolis County man facing charges relating to an armed robbery at a Kingston pharmacy has been remanded into custody until a show cause hearing later this week.
Mark Howard White, 25, Nictaux, is charged with stealing a bottle of Methadone from the Kingston Pharmasave while armed with an offensive weapon, a box cutter, and carrying a weapon, a box cutter, for a purpose dangerous to the public peace.
The court granted a warrant for White’s arrest Jan. 21 following a police investigation into the Jan. 20 robbery. Annapolis District RCMP arrested White without incident the morning of Jan. 22 in Middleton.
White appeared in Kentville Provincial Court on the executed warrant later in the day. Judge Alan Tufts adjourned the matters to Jan. 24 for a show cause hearing. The accused has consented to being remanded in custody until the hearing.
