Digby was a buzz of activity starting early Saturday morning with biker breakfasts being a popular way to start the day.

Over 200 hungry bikers made their way to the Digby Wesleyan Church for their annual Biker’s Breakfast and they did not disappoint.

A huge crowd of bikers gathered in and around the Evangeline Mall parking lot early Saturday morning to register, socialize and enjoy a cup of coffee.

By midmorning downtown Digby was filling up fast as registered bikers rolled in Water Street.

Arm wrestling, BMX show, Hub City Stunters and Show and Shine to name a few kept the crowds entertained and local shops scooped up mounds of ice cream and served up all kinds of local fare.

Traffic control was kept busy making sure bikers headed in the right direction and seeing that pedestrians got across the crosswalks safely.

Did Digby Baptist host their usual complementary seafood chowder this year? Nothing is ever mentioned about that.
