Kings-Hants MP Scott Brison visited K-ROCK 89.3 FM in New Minas to take the ALS ice bucket challenge on Aug. 26. Midday announcer Darrin Harvey got to do the honours. Newcap Radio president Rob Steele challenged Brison, who in turn challenged Kentville Mayor Dave Corkum, Wolfville Mayor Jeff Cantwell and Windsor Mayor Paul Beazley. The ice bucket challenge raises awareness of ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

MLA Scott Brison has issued the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and I am glad to accept. Plans are underway to for "The Big One" on the Windsor waterfront Sept. 11th, at which time the ALS Society will attend the honours and ensure the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is bestowed upon myself. Come see what our region has to offer at "The Big One", and see the Mayor, yours truly, put on ice for ALS. Mayor Paul Beazley, Town of Windsor

This is about the only useful thing Brison has done representing our region...what a complete dud of an MP that people continue to vote for due to blind loyalty to his party...which is hilarious since he's a PC at heart.
