The Valley Intergrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit has seized marijuana from an outdoor grow operation in Cambridge.

The Valley Integrated Street crime Enforcement Unit has executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act at a residence on Highway 1 in Cambridge.

Police seized 30 marijuana plants from an outdoor grow operation and a quantity of dry marihuana during the Aug. 19 search.

A 40-year-old Coldbrook man will face charges of production of marijuana and possession. He was released to appear in Kentville Provincial Court on Nov. 10.

    30 plants -really? Don't the RCMP have better things to do. Cambridge is overrun by off-road vehicles and manacling drivers after dark but cops are too busy looking for 30 plants?
