Kentville man arrested for assault, unlawfully entering house

Five males were arrested and later released over the weekend in Kentville.

One of those, a 26-year-old Kentville man was arrested for unlawfully entering a dwelling and committing an assault July 25.

Around 9:30 p.m., an intoxicated man entered a Masters Avenue home and committed an assault. The man was known by the victim and there were no reported injuried.

Kentville Police arrested the man for public intoxication, unlawfully entering a dwelling and committing an assault. He was released the following day to appear in Kentville provincial court at a later date.

The other arrests involved complaints including assault, shoplifting and breach of court undertakings.
