June 24

A suspicious man was reported for taking photos of an employee’s car at a working place in New Minas.

Valley Regional Hospital reported a man who was out of control.

There was a report of a break-in at a home on Wolfville Ridge at 12:47 p.m.

At 3 p.m., a 65-year-old male driver was found impaired on Commercial Street in New Minas.

A suspicious man was reported wandering aimlessly in his slippers in New Minas.

An assault and a broken window were reported from North Kentville.

An unauthorized couple broke into a building on the Acadia University campus.

A report of a stolen car in North Kentville turned out to be a towed car.

There was a disturbance on Governor Court in North Kentville at 5:57 p.m.

An assault was reported from Kingston at 8:40 p.m.

Unwanted youth were reported in a parking lot on Hillside Avenue in Wolfville at 8:54 p.m.

An intoxicated man was unwanted in South Berwick at 8:47 p.m.

At 11:07 p.m., there was a report of rifle shot-like noises near Pleasant Street in Wolfville. Later, firecrackers and yelling were noted.

At 11:46 p.m., a loud party was reported on Stewart Mountain Road in Blomidon.

June 25

A suspicious vehicle was reported in a driveway in Blue Mountain just after midnight.

Loud music was noted in Morristown.

A fight was reported at a grad party in Pereau at 1:44 a.m. One inebriated male was arrested.

A strange man broke a screen door and entered a home in Kingston at 9:52 a.m. When confronted, he asked for a family member and departed.

Harassing phone calls were reported from Lockhartville.

The North Kentville owner of a mini cooper reported a hit and run recently that caused $4,000 worth of damage.

A dog was reported in a car in Wolfville at 1:46 p.m.

Two youth were noted with a bike and skateboard heading up the North Mountain. Police determined they were heading home.

A report came in from Auburn of two cars racing at 6:20 p.m.

A car fire occurred on Highway 101.

June 26

A theft from a Greenwood business at 12:14 a.m. turned out to be a cautious neighbour observing a scheduled pick-up.

At 12:35 a.m., some youth were reported ringing doorbells and fleeing. A grad party was underway nearby.

A well-being check was requested at 7 a.m. All was well.

Four domestic incidents took place. One 27-year-old male was charged with assault.

There were five mental health calls, including one concerning an elderly woman. Four family relations calls came in

There were 10 driving complaints reported, including joy riding in North Kentville. Collisions took place in Kingston, Highway 358, Berwick, Wolfville and an off-road vehicle crashed at Brooklyn Corner.

Checkpoints were set up in Aylesford and on Wolfville Ridge.

Police went to a call from an adult group home. There was also a call from a youth group home, where a 16-year-old failed to comply with a court order.

There were two reports of possible illegal drug use and two complaints about Facebook postings. Two child welfare concerns were noted.

There were two false 911 calls and five false alarms.
