Fire Lines

June 23

• Just before noon, New Minas firefighters responded to an alarm system sounding at Winners on Silver Fox Avenue. It turned out a child had pulled the alarm.

• At 4:30 p.m., Kentville firefighters responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 359 in Centreville. There were minor injuries and fluids leaking to be cleaned up.

 

June 24

• Around 4:30 a.m., Wolfville firefighters responded to a 911 call for an unknown gas or chemical leak in an apartment building on Main Street in Wolfville.

EHS paramedics and Kings RCMP also attended the scene. One person was transported to hospital, and three others were treated at the scene.

 

June 25

• At 12:50 p.m., New Minas firefighters responded to rescue a cat trapped in a tree on Parkway Drive in New Minas.

• Wolfville firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle on fire at Exit 10 on Highway 101 just before 1:30 p.m.
