There were 81 reports made to the R.C.M.P. in Kings County between June 16 and June 19.

June 16

A Cambridge resident reported an open truck parked at a business at 12:58 a.m.

An officer on patrol stopped a vehicle without a headlight in Greenwich at 4:50 a.m.; the driver was arrested for possession of illegal drugs.

Police were asked by a New Minas courier to examine a suspicious package.

A tenant dispute was mediated in New Minas.

A 14-year-old boy tried to steal a pair of sneakers in New Minas.

A dog was reported in a truck in Greenwood at 2:52 p.m.

A case of internal theft and fraud was reported from a Greenwood business.

A New Minas resident reported buying what appears to be a stolen cell phone on Kijiji. Bell wanted judicial authorization from police to verify the theft.

A rented Chev Malibu was reported not returned from Greenwood.

A hit and run driver caused $3,000 in damage to a vehicle in Port Williams.

A 23-year-old man from a Waterville facility was reported missing twice.

Illegal drug paraphernalia was turned over for destruction in Rockwell Mountain and in Cambridge.

An unwanted man was reported at a workplace in New Minas at 6:24 p.m. He will face a peace bond.

A well being check was requested in Aylesford.

At 9:54 p.m. a neighbour on Brow Mountain reported someone loading possessions into a vehicle while the owners are away.

Police stopped a defective vehicle operated by a 17-year-old girl in Aylesford at 11:40 p.m.

June 17

Police are investigating a suspicious fire in a barn on Church Street at 12:50 a.m.

A youth was reported in a ditch in Coldbrook at 2:44 a.m. Police drove him home.

A dispute was reported in Grand Pré.

A sudden death occurred.

Police were requested to keep the peace while an eviction notice was served in Greenwood.

Some threats were reported over the disposal of dog excrement in Centreville.

A suspicious man and vehicle were noted on Tremont Mountain Road in Greenwood at 11:59 a.m.

A Berwick apartment resident called police about someone who would not return a key to the residence.

A purse was stolen from a locked truck at Lumsden Pond while the owner was kayaking.

There was a collision at Casey’s Corner in North Alton.

A shoplifter was caught stealing a cell phone charger in New Minas at 7 p.m.

A case of mischief over a failed relationship was reported from Auburn.

A Greenwood resident reported paying for services in advance, but finding the business had closed.

A woman went missing in Wolfville at 11:50 p.m., but it was determined she had just  gone for a walk without telling anyone.

June 18

A Lakeville resident reported a home covered in toilet paper at 5:39 a.m.

Someone damaged a gate at the Valley Regional Hospital parking lot overnight.

A large tree fell on Hall Road in Millville.

A New Minas resident reported the theft of cell phone usage.

A fat fire was reported in Coldbrook and police handled traffic control.

A suspicious vehicle was reported in Tremont.

There was a gas and go in Coldbrook.

A woman was stopped while shoplifting food in New Minas.

Two dogs were abandoned on Blue Beach Road in Lockhartville. One dog had an eye injury.

An assault was reported from a youth group home and one person was arrested at 6:30 p.m.

A medical emergency took place in New Minas at 7:54 p.m.

June 19

Some domestic threats were reported at 6:47 a.m.

Four mental health calls came in; one call of concern resulted from a FaceBook posting.

Between June 16 and 19, there were seven driving complaints. One female driver, who was texting while driving through a school zone, was located. She was operating a business vehicle.

Check points were set up in Greenwood, East Tremont and Berwick.

There were three false 911 calls.
