A 23-year-old man was arrested in New Minas outside of a bar at 5:30 a.m. for public intoxication.
A GPS was taken from an unlocked car in Centreville.
Police were called to check on an elderly woman around 9 a.m. after her family hadn’t heard from her in a few days. She was found injured. Paramedics were called.
A large tree branch fell directly onto a SUV on Highway 1 in Greenwich, rendering the vehicle undrivable. The department of transportation was notified. The branch was moved off the road.
Police were called to the scene of a four-vehicle accident in New Minas at 10:41 a.m. There were no charges laid and no one was injured.
There was a report of a vehicle running a stop sign at Brooklyn Street and Black Rock Road at 1:51 p.m.
At 2:27 p.m., RCMP provided traffic control for a crew repairing a tire on a transport track.
Shoplifting of baby lotion and apples is being investigated.
A 911 call came in about a neighbour stealing $10 from a North Kentville address. Police spoke to the parties and resolved the issue.
A man’s two ex-girlfriends were reported to have broken into a Kingston residence around 3:20 p.m., broken a TV and stolen the man’s car keys. Police are investigating.
There was a complaint about harassing phone calls from an ex-girlfriend.
A liquor offence was reported at a New Minas ball field.
Police were called to a medical emergency in North Kentville.
At 3:42 p.m. in Greenwood, a woman stopped her car outside a home and picked up the resident’s cat around 8:44 p.m. When confronted, she let the cat go.
A possible impaired driver was reported leaving gas station in North Kentville. Police spoke to the registered owner and are investigating.
Around 12:15 a.m., two calls came in from Kingston about a drunk, 52-year-old man on a bicycle. Police did not locate him.
When a resident stepped out of a home around 12:45 a.m. to pay for a pizza, an unknown male began yelling and tossing rocks. A 26-year-old man was arrested and held until sober.
At 12:48 a.m., property damage was reported in downtown Wolfville after a mirror was knocked off of a car.
Police arrested a 22-year-old man in Kingston after drugs were found.
A possibly intoxicated woman was at a drive-through at 3:53 a.m. in New Minas.
An Aylesford resident called police after a door was found ajar, but no one was found in the area.
In North Kentville, an expensive bike was stolen from a driveway overnight and a vehicle ransacked.
Two aggressive dogs were reported in New Minas around 11 a.m. and animal control contacted.
When responding to a call about a suspicious person in Auburn, police found a woman who was ill and disoriented and they called paramedics.
Harassment over non-payment of a debt was reported, but it was not a criminal matter.
Suspected arson was reported from Harbourville around 2 p.m. Police are investigating.
A 27-year-old woman will be served with a protection of property order after a shoplifting incident in Greenwood.
Suspicious activity was reported around a Wolfville property just before 6 p.m.
A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving in Greenwood around 7:45 pm. after a Jeep hit a concrete rail and kept going.
In Lakeville, a cow was reported near the road around 8:45 p.m., but when the complainant turned around, the cow was gone. The bovine’s owner was contacted and warned.
A warning was issued in North Kentville after a report of garbage being burned.
Police responded to a noise complaint in North Kentville just after 11 p.m. and found a bonfire and people playing loud music. When asked to turn down the tunes, the partiers complied.
Police handed out two warnings for failing to obey traffic signs in Wolfville.
Mischief was reported on Wolfville’s Prospect Street, where a landlord reported damage to a wooden step and mustard applied to a tenant’s vehicle.
A former Wolfville resident’s belongings were found during spring cleanup. The owner was contacted and will be retrieving them.
Police assisted people in retrieving their personal belongings in Hillaton and Kingston.
Just after 9 a.m., there was a reported gas and go in Coldbrook, but the customer had failed to pay by accident and returned to take care of the bill.
On New Minas’ Birch Street, a driver hit a parked car, causing damage to both vehicles.
There was a consensual fight between two young men in Canning.
An ATV, jewelry and a laptop were reported stolen at 12:19 p.m. after a break and enter in Greenwood.
At 4:40 p.m., someone reported mischief at the former Pine View Inn in Coldbrook. A door was open and windows had been broken, but the damage wasn’t recent.
There was a traffic complaint of speeding, tailgating and swerving just after 6 p.m. on Mee Road, North Kentville.
Mischief was reported in Auburn after a wire fence around a pasture was damaged. Police are investigating.
A cow was reported on the road in Lakeville. A police officer spoke to the owner about the ongoing issue and the owner indicated he plans to sell the animal for meat.
Suspicious activity was reported in Kingston at 7:14 p.m. after teenage boys were observed climbing a fence and taking photos of a Honda Prelude.
Speeding was reported on the 101 near Coldbrook.
