Lynn Roy, a resident of Gaspereau with reduced vision, appeared before Wolfville town council on May 6 to point out that the “town is not the easiest place to walk around.”

For someone with low vision, Roy said, more paint around intersections and well-defined roadways would be helpful.

She said when the edges are paved and curbing varies in the downtown navigation is more difficult for anyone with a disability.

“What’s good for me,” she said, “is good for anybody with a disability.”
