Power restored in area surrounding Wolfville, outage in Kingston

More than 200 people are without power in Kingston.

East Kingston, Auburn, Aylesford, Morden, Ogilve, Victoria Harbour, Millville, Nicholsville and surrounding areas lost power just after 1 p.m. The cause of the outage is not yet known.

Power is expected to be restored around 3 p.m.

A second outage in the area is impacting over 300 customers in Middleton, Gates Mountain Road, Shore Road, Hwy #1 to Mt Hanley Road and adjacent side streets. It's expected power will be restored at 2:45 p.m.

Power has been restored to 918 customers along Ridge Road, Gasperau, Greenfield, White Rock, Sunken Lake, Black River and adjacent side roads. The outage was caused by trees falling on power lines.
