Organizers are hoping dogs and their walkers will participate in a march planned for Saturday, Feb. 1, to spread awareness of the dangers and cruelties of tethering dogs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
A protest is planned for Saturday in New Minas to help pets.
Organizers say marches will be held all over the province support new provincial regulations to protect dogs from being tethered outside.
The New Minas demonstration begins at 11 a.m., Feb. 1 in the lower Walmart parking lot.
Leashed dogs are welcome.
