Power was restored just before 7 p.m. tonight. As of 8:05 p.m., there were no large outages  - affecting more than 100 customers - reported on the Nova Scotia power site. 



There are 3,281 people in Kings County without power this afternoon.

According to Nova Scotia Power's outage map, customers are affected in Port Williams, Starrs Point, North Kentville; Meadow Terrace Subd, Hwy 1, Greenwich east to Westwood Ave, Wolfville and adjacent side streets; and west end of New Minas from Crescent Dr & Highbury Rd to Turner Drive.

Power is expected to be restored by 4:45 p.m. The outage is due to emergency repairs to powerline equipment.
