More thefts from vehicles in Kings County

The car thieves are at it again. On Jan. 13 an unlocked vehicle in North Kentville was entered. Change and cigarettes were taken.

Windows on two vehicles parked in Lakeville had windows smashed.

Two purses and an iPad were stolen from a vehicle parked at a New Minas restaurant on Jan. 14. A window had been broken.

On Jan. 15, two unlocked vehicles in New Minas and two more in Port Williams were entered. A large sum of cash was taken from a glove box in Port Williams.

RCMP Const. Blair MacMurtery says any valuable property that is visible to criminals is an incentive to theft.

There have been 19 similar thefts since Dec. 1 in Coldbrook and New Minas. Six occurred at a single New Minas restaurant.
