Kentville's United Church of St. Stephen & St. Paul has a likely buyer.
The Orchard Valley Pastoral Charge of the United Church of Canada has accepted an offer to purchase the United Church of St. Paul and St. Stephen building on Main Street in Kentville.
Trustee Harvey Gilmore said Jan. 7 the offer is conditional to the end of this month on the purchaser completing some “due diligence” in terms of building inspections.
The offer went to the congregation for ratification and then to the Valley Presbytery for approval.
The United Church of St. Paul and St. Stephen is 100 years old this year.
