Two women from Mount Denson were rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a head-on collision along Highway 1 Monday, Dec. 16.

The women, a 45-year-old and a 51-year-old, were injured when their pickup trucks collided near the old Dakeyne Farm in Mount Denson the morning of Dec. 16. Both women were travelling alone.

Sgt. Leanne Macdonald, of the Windsor District RCMP, says the injuries were serious, but not life threatening.

Icy roads are to blame for the collision, Macdonald added.
