Responsible gambling ambassadors will visit Wolfville on Oct. 5, to raise awareness and educate Nova Scotians on how to gamble responsibly as part of Nova Scotia Provincial Lotteries and Casino Corporation's Responsible Gambling Awareness Week.
The ambassadors will be at the Wolfville Farmer's Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and at the County Fair Mall in New Minas from 2-6 p.m. to chat with the public.
Responsible Gambling Awareness Week, Sept. 29 to Oct. 5, is an example of the corporation's commitment to ensuring a responsible gambling environment in Nova Scotia. This year's campaign concept, putting your foot in your mouth, is used to illustrate the right time to quit.
