During the months of July and August, members of the RCMP Kingston detachment responded to 207 calls for service within the village of Kingston.
During his Sept. 12 appearance before the Kingston village commission, Sgt. Jamie Greene reported a break down of the calls.
They included 18 complaints of mischief, three of which were for property damage, as well as 13 incidents for loud parties or interfering with enjoyment of property, and, of those, two were unfounded.
There were seven complaints of assault, three were deemed unfounded. RCMP also responded to seven break and enters, four into residences, one into a shed and two were not confirmed.
There were 13 complaints of theft, eight for shoplifting, three for property thefts, one bicycle theft and one from a vehicle.
Police responded to one arson call and four police checkpoints were conducted during the summer months in the Kingston zone.
The remainder of the calls were false 911 calls and following up of provincial statutes.
