Just five days into the 2013 provincial election, Kings County will see its first visit from not only one party leader, but two.
Premier Darrell Dexter will first make an announcement in Bedford Wednesday morning described in a press release as "Better Care, When and Where You Need It." Then, he's is expected to make his way to Kings North Wednesday morning to campaign with NDP incumbent Jim Morton in Kentville at 11:30 a.m. In the afternoon, he'll campaign with NDP incumbent Ramona Jennex in Kings South, with stops planned at Noggin's Farm Market in Greenwich at 1:30 p.m. and along Sherwood Drive and Dale Street in Wolfville at 2 p.m.
PC leader Jamie Baillie, meanwhile, will launch his party's platform in Bedford Wednesday morning, then he, too, will head to Kings County. He's also scheduled to head to Kings South, where he'll campaign with PC candidate Shane Buchan. First stop is the Tim Horton's on Main Street, Wolfville, around noon, then a visit to Pete's Frootique at 12:30 p.m. He'll also tour the Grand Pre Winery at 1 p.m. At 2:30 p.m., Baillie will be in Kentville to open the campaign headquarters of Kings North PC candidate John Lohr, then he'll campaign at Kings Riverside Court at 3:15 p.m. and tour Weavexx Corporation at 4 p.m. Visit www.kingscountynews.ca for full coverage.
