There were 161 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between Oct. 13 and 17.

Oct. 13

A man who was wanted in Newfoundland was arrested.

There was a report of harassment in North Alton.

A man was observed entering a residence through a window. Police determined nothing was taken and no one was inside.

A possible drug deal was reported.

A driver in Coldbrook failed to pay for gas.

A suspicious man was loitering around a gas bar in New Minas.

There were cows loose on the road in Black Rock.

Two women, who were dating the same man, raised a ruckus in North Kentville. When police answered the 8:15 p.m. call, the women told police they regularly yell and curse at each other.

A medical emergency took place.

Two men, who are roommates in North Kentville, got into a fight over rent money.

A flying pumpkin broke the windshield of a tractor-trailer on Highway 101 near Waterville.

Loud music was blaring on Marsh Hawk Drive in Wolfville at 11:15 p.m.

A steamed up vehicle parked in New Minas was reported about 11:58 p.m. Police did not encounter any nudity.

Oct. 14

A theft was reported at 2:34 a.m. from a drinking establishment in New Minas. Two intoxicated men were involved and the items were recovered. Charges are pending.

At 3:36 a.m. a 20-year-old man was knocking on doors in Lower Wolfville because he was lost. Police determined he meant to go to Aldershot.

At 7 a.m. a call of concern came in about a man walking alongside Highway 101 in the rain.

Some drug paraphernalia was found in an abandoned apartment in the Coldbrook area and also at a Wolfville location.

A man, who was suspected to be shoplifting in New Minas, took off.

Four men were reported drinking in a vehicle in New Minas.

An internal theft was reported by a business in the Berwick area.

There were two reports of bullying involving an 11-year-old.

Someone threw a pumpkin off a Highway 101 overpass near Lockhartville.

A 16-year-old boy reported an online theft of swords, armor and magic spells by a hacker.

There was a sudden death. Two neighbours got into a dispute over a fence.

An intoxicated male was causing a disturbance in New Minas.

A driver, trying to avoid a raccoon, went off the road in Aylesford and hit a business.

Two young women were involved in an assault at a public event in Kingston. Police are investigating.

An intoxicated man will be charged with breaching conditions.

Noise was reported on Prospect Street in Wolfville.

Oct. 15

A wellbeing check was requested on an intoxicated man in Wolfville. Noise was a problem at 2:21 a.m. for a Balcolm Drive resident of Wolfville.

Five minutes later a 21-year-old impaired driver was stopped going the wrong way on Linden Avenue in Wolfville.

A party of 50 to 70 people was shut down on Bay Street in Wolfville. Two people in the town were reported missing, then found.

A Kingston business owner called police about a deaf and mute man with communication challenges.

Four youth were reported in Auburn because they were smoking a single cigarette.

Someone reported receiving indecent text messages.

An impaired driver had a collision in Kingston. The 61-year-old woman did not have insurance on her vehicle.

Wallets were found in Wolfville and Kingston.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested after an assault at a Kingston residence at 6:30 p.m. Alcohol was involved.

A vehicle bumped an intoxicated pedestrian on Commercial Street in New Minas at 10:40 p.m. The man was staggering and ended up with a broken nose.

A non-student damaged a door on the Acadia University property.

Youth were running and yelling in Waterville.

There was a disturbance in New Minas at 11:51 p.m. Shortly afterward a 36-year-old intoxicated man was arrested in New Minas for being drunk in public.

A window was broken at a convenience store in Canning.

An intoxicated man was reported for refusing to leave a drinking establishment in downtown Wolfville.

Noise coming from the Acadia University campus was reported at 10:42 p.m.

Two youth, aged 17 and 18, were lodged in a cell for underage drinking. They were rounded up on Gaspereau Avenue in Wolfville.

Oct. 16

An intoxicated 50-year-old man was arrested in Port Williams at 12:20 a.m. and held until sober.

A 2010 motorhome parked at Dempsey's Corner was demolished by fire around 8 a.m. The adjacent house was scorched.

A home in Canning was broken into overnight.

There was a disturbance at the skateboard park in New Minas.

A 20-year-old impaired driver hit a guardrail on Wolfville Ridge at 7:57 p.m. He faces charges.

Loud music was reported from a parking lot on Belcher Street at 9:55 p.m.

A window was broken in a house in Linden Avenue in Wolfville. Later loud music was reported on Blue Heron Court in the same town.

A 21-year-old reported missing in Wolfville had gone to Quebec.

A window was broken on a vehicle parked at Acadia University.

Oct. 17

A man was reported at 6 a.m. curled up near a driveway at a facility in Berwick.

A business on Commercial Street in New Minas was broken into.

Seven domestic incidents occurred. One woman carried out an assault with a broom. One couple went outside to argue out of their children's earshot and disturbed their neighbours.

An intoxicated man in his 40s was arrested until he sobered up.

Seven mental health calls came in. One 12-year-old was taken to hospital.

There were seven family relations calls. Two involved assaults and five concerned custody issues. There were four youth group home incidents.

A possible counterfeit $10 bill was noted in Kingston, followed by another dubious $5 bill in Greenwich.

There were two complaints about the temporary lights at the Gladys Porter bridge not working properly.

There were nine driving complaints. Collisions occurred on Brow Mountain Road, Coldbrook, Greenwich, Waterville, Kingston, Welsford and two in New Minas. One person was injured in a collision that took place in a construction zone on Highway 101.

There were checkpoints conducted in Greenwich, Upper Dyke, Wolfville Ridge and four in Wolfville.

Community policing officer Const. Blair MacMurtery gave a presentation on personal safety issues at Peopleworx in Kentville.
