There were 338 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between Dec. 18 and Dec. 29.
December 18, there was a collision in Canning and a gas and dash in Coldbrook.
An 85-year-old driver collided with an unmarked police car on John Rd. in New Minas.
A vehicle rolled over in Grafton and a collision occurred on Middle Dyke Rd.
A 30-year-old male shoplifter was arrested in Wal-mart in New Minas. He was also wanted for breach of probation.
A 64-year-old impaired female driver was stopped near Coldbrook.
Early Dec. 19, a 20-year-old male who’d been drinking walked into a home on Brandy Ave. in Greenwood. Police were called and they returned the young man to his parents.
A medical condition caused a single vehicle collision at 1:48 p.m. in North Alton.
Two young men were arrested after a fight at 2 a.m. Dec. 20 outside the Top Hat Tavern in Greenwood.
Two male shoplifters were caught at Zeller’s in New Minas. One took off and one was apprehended, wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Road conditions caused a collision on Balsor St. in Kingston at 4:40 p.m.
A shoplifter ran away from the Superstore in Kingston and a 26-year-old shoplifter was stopped in New Minas.
A complaint about loud music on Turner Dr. in New Minas resulted in a warning at 11 p.m.
A fight was dispersed outside Legends in Coldbrook about 1:15 a.m. Dec. 21.
Road conditions caused a collision on Middle Dyke Rd. about 8:45 p.m. and a half-ton truck went off the road on Highway 101 near North Alton.
December 22, a collision occurred in Lakeville during a storm.
A snow mobile was stolen from White Rock.
A rear-end collision took place in New Minas and another in Port Williams. A 57-year-old male driver was charged with going too fast after a collision on Highway 101 near Coldbrook.
A Cambridge mother went out to sweep snow off her steps and got locked outside with her toddler inside. She called 911 for aid, but kicked in the door before police arrived.
A debit card was stolen in Canning and some purchases made.
A town truck and a vehicle collided at 7:15 a.m. Dec. 23 in Greenwich.
Someone entered a barn on the Ben Jackson Rd. in Hants Border and stole a gas can.
A generator was stolen from a shed at a business in New Minas.
An off-duty Kentville police officer spotted an impaired driver on Mee Rd. As a result, a 50-year-old man was arrested.
One driver was given a ticket for failing to yield following a collision on Bridge St. in Greenwood at 10 p.m.
A shed was broken into on KenWo Cres. in New Minas and a tractor was reported stolen in Steam Mill.
Two young women tried to steal a cart full of groceries in New Minas.
A rear end collision occurred in Greenwich.
A Kakwa St. resident of the Cambridge Reserve reported two cats killed by a neighbour’s dogs. Animal control does not have jurisdiction on the reserve.
Just after 8 a.m. Dec. 25, a man was noted sleeping in the furnace room of a Highbury Rd., New Minas apartment building.
A driver swerving to avoid a tree down near Canning forced another vehicle off Highway 358, but did not stop.
A Waterville resident reported coming home Dec. 26 to find someone had plowed into their porch.
December 27, there was a fight reported at the Top Hat Tavern at 1:45 a.m.
Police assisted when a man was found in the ditch in South Greenwood at 9:53 a.m. He was taken to hospital in Middleton.
A Canning home was broken into and a Play Station stolen. Entry was gained through the basement window.
An ATV was stolen from Foster St. in Kingston and a shed was broken into on the same street.
A driver failed to pay for $34 worth of gas in Aldershot.
December 29, there was a collision at the Highway 101 ramp in New Minas at 8:46 a.m.
A truck rolled over on the Gibson Woods Rd. and a car was off the road at Brow Mt. about 9:20 a.m.
There were two sudden deaths.
There were 31 false business alarms, 21 false residential alarms and 16 false 911 calls.
