On September 4, 2008 the South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SSISCEU) with the assistance of the Lunenburg District RCMP (Bridgewater Office) and the Queens District RCMP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on the East Port Medway road in Mill Village, Queens Co.

Several pounds of harvested marihuana was seized from the residence along with a large quantity of marihuana plants from the property.

A 36-year old Mill Village couple are facing charges for Production of Marihuana and Possession of Marihuana for the purpose of Trafficking. The couple are to appear in Liverpool Provincial Court on October 21, 2008 for election and plea. SSISCEU are continuing their investigation.
