There were 122 reports made to Kings RCMP between May 12 and May 15.

An internal theft was reported by a New Minas business last Monday.

A youth broke into a shed in Hall's Harbour and stole an item, but it was recovered.

A woman swimming at the Acadia University pool suffered the loss of her pants and sneakers.

Someone reported to security at the Valley Regional Hospital that four youth were playing with wheelchairs behind the facility about 8:18 p.m.

A dumpster was set on fire outside the Empire Theatres in New Minas about 10:45 p.m. Police are looking for information about this and other recent fires. Cst. Les Kakonyi says businesses have been warned to be vigilant about combustibles.

There was a complaint about loud music coming from the graduation dance at the Acadia Arena about 11:24 p.m.

The driver of a dark blue Dodge Stratus took $110 worth of gas from a Coldbrook gas station last Tuesday and failed to pay for it.

Police are investigating a woman from the New Albany, Annapolis Co. area who used fraudulent cheques at five businesses in Kentville and New Minas.

Two collisions occurred in New Minas when drivers attempted to enter onto Commercial St. during the afternoon.

Someone entered a residence on Spidle Rd. in Coldbrook through an unlocked back door and stole some cash.

Six dirt bike drivers were disturbing residents of Jones Rd. in New Minas about 8:20 p.m. They scattered when police arrived.

RCMP Traffic Services investigated a single vehicle crash last Wednesday at 7:40 a.m. A westbound pick-up truck lost control while trying to pull over, struck a guardrail and flipped onto its side. The pick-up truck came to rest on the westbound shoulder of the highway, partially on the pavement.

The two occupants were extricated by the New Minas Fire Department using the Jaws-of-Life. The occupants were transported to the Valley Regional with non-life threatening injuries. Two dogs that were also in the truck suffered serious, but undetermined injuries. Highway 101 was closed for over an hour between exits 12 and 13.

At 9:42 a.m. a Cambridge business owner discovered that a total of 400 litres of gas had been siphoned from two parked tandem trucks overnight.

Two vehicles on Prospect St. outside Kentville were entered overnight and a camera stolen from one of them.

A driver in Coldbrook hit a parked car at a gas station in Coldbrook and took off about 5:23 p.m.

A 50-year-old man handing out flyers was creating a traffic hazard at 5:19 p.m. in Greenwich.

Three young men, who had been drinking, were playing football at 11:11 p.m. behind the seniors apartments on Central Ave. in Greenwood.

There was a loud music complaint about the beverage room on Harbourside Dr. in Wolfville at 11:25 p.m. Police ensured the door was closed.

Someone on a four-wheeler shot paint balls at a vehicle traveling down Highway 101 near Coldbrook just after midnight.

Last Thursday a complaint of loud music came in from Auburn. A saw was taken from an unlocked vehicle in North Alton. A business in North Alton also reported a cash box missing at 8 a.m.

Overnight, a small engine was stolen off a worksite at an apartment complex in Wolfville.

A mailbox in Morristown was damaged overnight and road signs in Lake George that had been vandalized May 11 were targeted again.

A video camera on the Cambridge Reserve was damaged earlier in the month and just reported.

A paint bucket fell off a delivery truck, spreading paint on the vehicle behind. Police in Wolfville ensured that the proper clean-up occurred.

Earlier in the month, on May 2 at approximately 9 p.m., at the corner of Hwy. 1 and Brookside Dr., Kingston, a vehicle, described as a black car of unknown make or model, traveling toward Middleton rear-ended another vehicle and fled the scene of the accident. It appears that the damage to the suspect vehicle may be to the front driver’s side headlight. Police are looking for information about this collision.

There were four domestic incidents and one mental health call. There were four false business alarms, three false residential alarms and six false 911 calls.
