Leo Annis Smith, 43, of Liverpool has gone from home to jail after his March 27 arrest on charges of Trafficking in Marihuana and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking.

He was sentenced last Feb. to six months house arrest for assault causing bodily harm but has now lost the conditional sentence.

On March 27, RCMP Queens Detachment and the South Shore Integrated Street Crime Unit executed two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrants in Liverpool on a residence and an out-building.

About 335 grams of marijuana along with drug paraphernalia were seized. The related charges will be dealt with on May 6.
