With the 82nd annual Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival officially getting underway today, May 28, the Environment Canada forecast for the Kentville area is calling for cloudy skies, changing to a mix of sun and cloud near noon. Wind will develop out of the northeast at 20 km/h this afternoon. A daytime high temperature of 14C is expected with a UV index of 7 or high. With the overnight low temperature expected to fall to the freezing point, a frost advisory has been issued for Kings.
