RCMP have charged a 19-year-old man with stunting in Lower Sackville after he was spotted driving more than 50 kilometres over the speed limit while carrying an infant in the car.
Around 8:12 p.m. Wednesday, RCMP say they saw a car traveling 122 kilometres per hour in a 50 kilometre zone on Sackville Drive.
The 19-year-old driver was stopped, charged with stunting, and has been suspended from driving for a minimum period of one week. Police say his vehicle was also seized.
If convicted, RCMP say the driver faces a fine of $2,418.95 and an automatic six points would be added to his record.
According to a release, there was also a female passenger in the vehicle.
RCMP said stunting can be defined as driving more than 50 kilometres per hour over the posted speed limit.
