The Premier of Nova Scotia has fired his director of communications.

Kyley Harris was placed on administrative leave with pay last week “after charges for a domestic matter,” according to a statement from the province.

A statement released today from the Stephen McNeil’s office said Harris was let go Monday, in accordance with a section in his contract that says his employer can terminate his contract at any time without notice.
