Members of the Kentville Police Service answered six calls for service on April 24.

Calls included a report by a 24-year-old female that she was de-frauded out of approximately $300 by two males.

A rottweiler dog was reported running loose downtown with no collar. KPS members picked up the dog and returned it to the owner.

A 23-year-old female attended the KPS office to report someone had taken her photo off her Facebook page and put it on a site called “The Dirty” and wrote some nasty things about her. Members advised her on how to request to take it down and reported the incident to the Bullying Task Force.

Police responded to a call that someone had thrown a brick through a basement window. Members attended and followed tracks in the snow two streets over until they disappeared. No prints or other evidence were found on scene.

KPS members also responded to two general assistance calls to the public.
