A Halifax Police officer faces charges related to offences alleged to have occurred in Lantz, Hants County, as well as in Halifax and Dartmouth.
Nova Scotia’s Serious Incident Response Team (SIRT) announced April 24 it had laid new charges against Const. Chris Mosher.
The 30-year-old now faces four new counts of breaching release conditions by possessing alcohol.
The charges relate to matters alleged in Hants County and the Halifax Regional Municipality.
SIRT started an investigation into the matter in December 2013 as a result of information received from a member of the public. Ron MacDonald, the independent director of the team, is responsible for all decisions on charges and the laying of a charge
