Rain on the way for Saturday, April 5
As is illustrated by this photo taken along Deep Hollow Road in Kings County this morning, April 4, local streams and rivers are running fast with all sorts of water from spring melt-off and copious amounts of precipitation as of late.
Waterways are likely to continue to run high, as the Environment Canada forecast for the Kentville area for tomorrow, April 5, is calling for periods of rain to begin in the morning, ending in the evening.
The forecast for today, April 4, is calling for a few flurries ending this morning, followed by a mix of sun and cloud and a 40 per cent chance of rain showers. Fog patches will dissipate this morning. A daytime high temperature of 8C is expected, with a UV index of 6 or high.
