Driving conditions could become challenging with a rainfall and flash freeze warning in effect for Kings County.

With a rainfall and flash freeze warning issued for Kings County today, March 13, driving conditions could become treacherous. The Environment Canada forecast for Kentville is calling for rain to change to freezing rain this morning, then to flurries or ice pellets. We could see two to four centimetres of snow or ice pellet accumulation. Fog patches are expected to dissipate in the morning. The wind will be out of the northeast at 30 km/h, becoming northerly at 30 km/h, gusting to 50 km/h this afternoon. The temperature is expected to fall to minus 6C this afternoon.
