Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement that an intense storm system is forecast to hit the Maritimes on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
An intense low pressure system is expected to affect the Maritime provinces Wednesday evening into Thursday. This system is expected to bring significant amounts of snow or rain to Nova Scotia.
