Yesterday's roaring winds have been replaced by the sound of plows and people across Kings County are digging out from under almost 30 cm of snow.

According to Environment Canada data, Greenwood received 22 cm of snow Jan. 3 and almost 7 cm Jan. 2, when the blizzard began. Blowing snow continued through last night, but this morning the skies are clearing and a mix of sun and cloud is in today's forecast, with a 40 per cent chance of flurries.
